Introduction
A basic set of tools will help you cope with everyday household chores. Here is a list of the necessary tools.
Measuring and marking
Tape measure (at least 5 m), level, water level, pencil, chalk line. Accurate measurements are the basis of every job.
Cutting
Saw (hand saw or electric jigsaw), utility knife, metal scissors, wire cutters. Different cutting tools for different materials.
Screwdrivers and wrenches
A set of screwdrivers of different sizes (flat, cross), a set of wrenches, pliers, a nail gun. A cordless drill is almost essential.
Hammers
Medium-sized hammer (300-500 g), rubber hammer (for installing tiles, assembling furniture).
Confirmation
Various screws, nails, dowels, bolts. A small container for sorting.
Plastering and puttying
Putty shovels (wide and narrow), trowel, jointer, sandpaper, sanding block.
Coloring
Brushes of different sizes, rollers, paint tray, masking tape, protective film.
