Saxophone - versatile, jazz, pop, rock, requires more air, for beginners from 10-12 years of age.

Brass instruments

Horn - warm, soft sound, more complex, requires good hearing.
Trombone - lower sound, uses a slider, for beginners from 10 years old.
Tuba - the lowest brass instrument, large, heavy, requires a lot of air.
What to consider
